Bayer Seeds Site Logistics Manager III in Littlefield, Texas
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, Seeds Site Logistics Manager III, are to:
Coordinate all site operations for the Fuzzy Seed Warehouse;
Coordinate information required for the facility to operate within parameters established by the Cotton Supply Chain Management Team;
Coordinate all data collection and entry into SAP;
Maintain bulk inventory;
Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities;
Maintain expenditure reports in support of annual budget forecastingrequirements;
Supervise fuzzy warehouse employees;
Provide coaching on all aspects of warehouse work processes to direct reports;
Possess knowledge of safety programs and the ability to train and enforce warehouse employees follow the safety guidelines;
Hire and train temporary seasonal personnel;
Promote team approach to site challenges and develop local solutions;
Administer Seed Safety Program and QHSE governmental regulations;
Travel domestically, as needed.

Who you are
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, seed technology, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience with at least 4+ years of experience in distribution warehouse and/or seed warehouse experience or other related field such as, cotton production / research, cotton ginning, seed production, quality assurance or a high school diploma and 5-7 years of experience in seed processing or related field;
Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and storage procedures;
Mechanical abilities with knowledge of seed storage equipment performance;
Excellent team building skills to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives with focus on results oriented leadership;
Demonstrated self-motivation and problem solving skills;
Ability to communicate effectively with diplomacy and tact to all levels of personnel at plant site;
Excellent writing communication skills;
Organizational and time management skills;
General computer proficiency including standard software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management), with SAP knowledge a plus;
Ability to travel as required.
- Previous supervisory experience.
