Texas Health Fort Worth is hosting an Interview Day on Wednesday May 30, 2018!
*INTERVIEWS MUST BE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE AND CANDIDATE MUST HAVE COMPLETED AN ONLINE APPLICATION AND PHONE QUESTIONNAIRE PRIOR TO INTERVIEW DAY.
*Interviews will be conducted throughout the day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
*Interviews and hiring decisions are based on those that meet all required qualifications and criteria.
*The interview process may include completion of new hire onboarding forms and completion of employee health post offer assessment/drug screening.
*Required documentation - Must be able to provide work authorization documents for Form I-9, original documents only, copies not accepted. Please also bring information for direct deposit/voided check and vehicle information - year, make, model, and license plate number. Vaccination Record and/or information will be required.
Please plan on spending 3-4 hours at Texas Health Fort Worth if selected for this event.
Hiring Material Technician (One opening)
Full time 40 hours, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Minimum Required Education:
High School Diploma
Minimum Required Experience:
One year relevant experience in storage and receiving goods preferred.
Minimum Required Licensure/Certification:
FHC - Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days
Ability to meet time standards required by position.
Extensive knowledge of purchasing and basic computer skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Receive and store food and supplies, verifying quantity of product delivered with invoice against the invoice.
Secure requisitions for supplies.
Restock supplies to ensure physical inventories are completed in a timely manner.
Assures all damaged goods are documented and appropriate credit is secured.
Assure the integrity of the supplies which are received meet the standards.
Follow established standards for food safety and sanitation.
Maintains food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards in the performance of all duties.
Records refrigerator temperatures in area of
responsibility and takes appropriate action if there are inadequate temperatures.
Maintains clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with health department and facility requirements.
Areas of responsibilities are secured, organized and clean.
Fills requisitions for food/supplies delivers items to designated area per procedure.
Delivers food and supplies.
Performs other job duties as assigned by management.
