FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY AMERICA Inspection Scheduler in EULESS, Texas

SUMMARY: Under direction of the Service Manager, the Inspection Scheduler maintains FLSA s office management activities for service and inspections such as assisting in the scheduling, maintenance of job files (including FLSA s quality documents) and answering phones. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Schedule sprinkler & fire alarm inspections with customers. Updates schedule according to customer cancellations, changes or changes in business demand (seasonal work, etc) 2. Work with Service Operations Manager and Inspectors to be sure testing equipment is available for the appropriate inspection job for that customer. 3. Review and upload Inspector s reports of customer sites to Building Reports. Review for accuracy. 4. Schedule partners for sub-contract work i.e. extinguisher partners. 5. Review and submit reports to AHJ s (Authority Having Jurisdiction). 6. Communicates schedule and any changes to Service Manager & Inspectors in a timely manner ensuring smooth work flow. 7. Answer phones in a professional, timely manner. Make outgoing calls to customers & Inspectors. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be customer oriented representing FLSA with a strong service culture. Must have the ability to work well under pressure managing multiple priorities at one time. Excellent communication & organizational skills are required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of personal computers, especially data bases, word processing and spreadsheet programs. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have command of the English language both oral & written. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate simple figures. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Service Manager.
