Kforce Policy Processing Clerk in Dallas, Texas

Kforce has a client in search of a Policy Processing Clerk in Dallas, Texas (TX). The main function of a policy processing clerk is to draft policies and take them through to closing. Responsibilities include:

  • Gather information and take each file from sale to closing

  • Verify insurance documents including income credit appraisal

  • Collect required documentation, review file documentation, and make sure all items needed are requested

  • Ensure that all policy documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company policy

  • Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and other documents for recurring internal reports

  • Act as a liaison between the policy holder and insurance agent

  • Contact and communicate with clients by telephone, e-mail, or in-person

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience required

  • Basic knowledge in insurance industry

  • Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
