This position supports application software testing, software integration, and configuration management tasks to assure customer satisfaction with application accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.

As part of the Production Services group, the position works closely with Development and Support to monitor, test, and provide level 3 support, interacting with testing and production environments on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detailed-oriented, high-capacity detective needed to triage, monitor, configure, and support industry-leading SaaS healthcare applications.

There is an expectation for the person that fills this role to be experienced in automation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes application requirements and designs documents.

• Applies advanced skills to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.

• Identifies scope, requirements, and target implementation dates for proposed changes.

• Develops and executes test plans and cases, analyzes results.

• Creates test data, identifies and generates test tools.

• Documents discrepancies found and provides status reports to management.

• Participates in communications with other departments to coordinate test and implementation activities.

• Reviews development test plans, test cases and results, as needed.

• Researches problems reported in production application, and communicates results with appropriate parties for resolution.

• Participates in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.

• Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes.

• Executes volume and performance tests.

• Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches.

Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of professional experience including 3 years in software testing.

• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Strong time management skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Good knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated test tools.

• Good knowledge of multiple department applications, subsystems, and functions.

• Good knowledge of company and department standards.

• Familiarity with Healthcare terminology and billing practices is a big plus.
