Randstad Professionals is seeking a Jr. Tax Analyst to supplement current Tax Analyst role. Looking for someone with basic sales and use tax experience, minimal tax software exposure, Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Pro experience, potential exposure to premium tax. Job Duties :

  1. Prepares routine federal and state income, sales and premium tax returns, including the analysis of compiled data and GAAP and STAT accounting treatment. Computes current and cumulative tax adjustments and completes required forms and schedules.

  2. Performs entry-level accounting, financial reporting and analysis in accordance with the GAAP and STAT accounting rules applicable to current and deferred taxes. Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.

  3. Conducts basic tax research, and assists in special projects. Supports implementation of team initiatives.

  4. Assists with tax audit information requests

Requirements

Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience); Up to 2 years relevant experience; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and functionalities of corporate financial systems.
