Department Overview

The Registrar's Office provides support services to faculty, staff, students and other constituents in the areas of academic programs and degree requirements, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, graduation, athletic eligibility, and the maintenance of student academic records, as well as handling state and federal reporting.

Job Description

The Registrar's Office is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist II to provide administrative support in the area of Graduation and Transfer Evaluation. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with the analysis of transfer articulations received on-demand and through Transfer Evaluation System (TES) and U.Achieve.
  • Assist the Service Specialist I with program/plan issues related to U.Achieve/EIS comparative reports.
  • Annual review of articulation agreements with other institutions.
  • Support all academic areas through the transfer process as well as enhance the ease of all transfer students, both perspective and continuing.
  • Provide support to graduation processing.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and two years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: * Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing. * Skill in evaluating facts or situation to route calls/customers appropriately. * Basic MS Office skills. * Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers. * Skill in filing and recordkeeping. * Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation. * Skill in basic math. * Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures.
