University of Texas at Dallas Administrative Assistant II in Dallas, Texas
Responsible for the ECS Dean’s Office front desk and associated duties. Will be the primary administrative support for the Dean’s staff. This position will work closely with the Dean’s Administrative Associate to provide outstanding customer service and administrative support.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and five years of office administration or project management experience including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Peoplesoft Financials and Procurement preferred. Higher education administrative experience preferred. Above average proficiency in MS Office suite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all administrative office services for the Dean’s suite and workflow of a busy front office. This may include but is not limited to purchasing, accounts payable, meeting and conference room scheduling, access requests, directory maintenance and departmental review of eCATs. This position will process travel requests, key requests, business card orders, facilities work requests, review OneCard statements, and process other requests as needed. Will supervise and direct work for two student workers.
