Summary / Overview:
System Engineer position in Yield Management System (YMS) which supports device analysis in fully automated semiconductor manufacturing facility. System is utilized by on-site unit part and yield engineering departments to monitor equipment health and process control limits, while also performing defect analysis to determine areas of opportunity to improve product yield.
Specific Job Duties:
Maintain application backend including ETL and Oracle/DB2 database
Plan periodically for preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance and reliability.
Take part in standardization deployments with other lines in global manufacturing network.
Assist in creating design specs to outline proposed changes to existing systems in order to fulfill customer requirements.
Communicate system change points and issue resolutions clearly to members in the department and internal customers in the company.
Work with international and local team members to resolve issues and ensure proper integration with other related systems.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:
BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering major
3-5 years of related experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools:
3-5 years of object-oriented design and complex analysis
3-5 years of programming language JAVA and C#
3 years of experience with jQuery, JSP, HTML, and XML
Proficient with SQL Language (DB2 or Oracle)
5-7 years of experience in UNIX (AIX, SunOS, Linux) and Windows environment.
5-7 years of ETL / Shell-script (IBM Data Stage plus)
